DPF co-founder Jeff Kingery’s script Fifth Wheel reached the finals at the prestigious Page Screenwriting Competition in Los Angeles.

Fifth Wheel follows teenager Stephanie Meredith, whose only chance of shifting her life out of reverse is to win a testosterone-charged National auto repair competition.

“You have to push to make dreams come true,” Kingery said. “Fifth Wheel is about a girl who learns how to dare to be special. She’s really all of us…wanting something, figuring out how to get it and working and fighting to be good enough to get it.”

Out of 4,400 entries, Fifth Wheel placed in the top ten in the drama category.
